Kinetic instalation

DC motors, metal frame, fabric, spent shells

ABOUT

A kinetic installation made from five limbs of local Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis), flexible fabric, mechanical components, and spent shells. Five independent motors move the structure separately, creating constantly changing forms through the tension of the fabric.

The work explores synchronicity and chance, as autonomous movements briefly form moments of coordination. Combining organic and mechanical elements, Gaze Engine behaves like a living system, creating temporary, unpredictable order.
