TEMPORAL DRIFT - TANK 01
ABOUT
An installation built from a salvaged aircraft fuel tank found in Ganja, Azerbaijan.
Activated by the approach of a viewer, the suspended object begins to spin, producing a wagon-wheel effect: its movement appears unstable, as if rotating forward, slowing down, or reversing direction. Through this optical illusion, the work transforms the object into an instrument of perceptual disorientation, in which vision becomes unreliable.
The work explores how technologies of force can be reconfigured as technologies of perception, where instability, illusion, and doubt replace certainty and control.
